Niklaus Mikaelson (a.k.a. Nik or Klaus)
is an Original Hybrid, and the son of an unnamed werewolf and Esther.
He had an six hal siblings: a deceased unnamed older half-brother,
four other half-brothers named Elijah, Finn, Kol, and Henrik, and a
younger half-sister named Rebekah. Klaus is also the step-son of
Mikael, with whom he had a strained relationship before the latter
got killed.
At the middle ages when Klaus youngest
half brother Henrik die because of a werewolf, Esther had an idea
that her family be still excess that she made Klaus transformed to be
a vampire, his siblings and his step father, that Klaus had an first
human victim and his werewolf genes begun to work, thus an revealing
to Esther fidelity. When Mikael learned that Klaus was an Hybrid
called he begun to haunted Klaus and his entire family and that is
the reason why would ignite a war between vampires and werewolves
that has been perpetuated across the ages.
Plec would write and executive produce,
along with Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina
Girolamo for Alloy, Warner Bros TV and CBS TV Studios. No word yet if
Vampire Diaries Co-creator & EP Kevin Williamson will have a hand
in the Original series.
